Who is Melinda and why is she Musing?

Where to begin… I live in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and work as a freelance web developer, I have my own company, York Web Services. I decided to go out on my own in 2010 after an 11 year career in corporate America. I am a self professed geek and enjoy dabbling with new technologies.

My interests range from health and wellness to learning the intricacies of WordPress. I enjoy a challenge and love to learn new things. As you will see from my blog, my interests vary greatly. I am very involved with my church and was recently involved with a new church plant for a second campus, Generations Church South Campus. I am married to my wonderful husband Jake, and also manage his band 3 Days Blind. I have a toddler son who keeps me on my toes. I started this blog as a creative outlet (how creative can a programmer be right?) and because I wanted to play with WordPress. Thanks for visiting, see you in the blogosphere.
